Entirely orientated to producing polycarbonate sheet, EMP is now an established market leader and sells its products in more than 37 countries around the world.
At present EMP employs 104 people in its factory in Stabio and has a production capacity of 13000 tonnes per year and this guarantees reliable and quick deliveries. The sales organization of EMP employs its own export sales managers and also has exclusive distributors in France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and the USA.
EMP was one of the first manufacturers to apply the co-extrusion system to its sheet. The development of its new special products, namely Superlife and Heatshield, stimulated an otherwise static market. The new 25mm Fivewall and 32mm Fourwall M structure products brought the added benefits of higher thermal insulation and reinforced structures.
